Eight Mountains is a story of friendship. About children becoming men who try to erase their father’s footsteps, but who, through twists and turns, always return home. Pietro is a city boy, Bruno the last child of a forgotten mountain village. Over the years Bruno remains faithful to his mountain, while Pietro is one who comes and goes. Their encounter introduces them to love and loss, reminds them of their origins, illuminates their destinies, as Pietro and Bruno discover what it means to be true friends for life.
