“Stolen Identity 2” (Japanese: “二重生活” – Nijū Seikatsu) is a 2020 Japanese psychological drama film Directed by Masayuki Suzuki. The movie is a sequel to the 2016 film “Stolen Identity” (also known as “Double Life”).
The story follows Sachiko (played by Miki Nakatani), a successful editor who discovers a mysterious novel written by her estranged mother, Itsuki (also played by Miki Nakatani). The novel contains unsettling parallels to Sachiko’s own life, raising questions about the truth behind her mother’s past and the complex relationship between the two women.
