“The Good, the Bad, the Weird” (Korean: “좋은 놈, 나쁜 놈, 이상한 놈”) is a 2008 South Korean action-adventure film directed by Kim Jee-woon. The movie is known for its dynamic action sequences, humor, and homage to the Spaghetti Western genre.
The story is set in 1930s Manchuria and follows three central characters: Yoon Tae-goo (played by Song Kang-ho), a charismatic and quirky outlaw known as “The Weird”; Park Chang-yi (played by Lee Byung-hun), a cold and ruthless hitman known as “The Bad”; and Park Do-won (played by Jung Woo-sung), a bounty hunter known as “The Good.” The three characters become entangled in a pursuit of a valuable treasure map, leading to a series of wild and chaotic adventures.
