Series 5 brings about an exchange in Del, however brief when he decides to go to confession to make up for his dodgy lifestyle and in doing so, decides to assist the church increase some a lot of wished funds. Later, Del’s historical commercial enterprise partner returns and starts to annoy every person by way of boasting about his success overseas. Rodney thinks it’s a miracle—but questions his brother’s inspiration—when Del (David Jason) begins attending church on an everyday basis.
