After its triumph over Leonidas’ 300, the Persian Army under the order of Xerxes walks towards the significant Greek city-states. The Democratic city of Athens, first on the way of Xerxes’ military, puts together its solidarity with respect to its armada, driven by chief naval officer Themistocles. Themistocles is compelled to a reluctant union with the conventional opponent of Athens, oligarchic Sparta whose may lies with its unrivaled infantry troops. Yet, Xerxes actually rules in numbers over ocean and land.
