Nina, a late-teenage orphan with mental issues, begins a new work as a garden cleaner after meeting Toni. They fell in love, but Toni quickly starts betraying Nina. Meanwhile, Francoise is picked up by her husband, Pierre, at a psychological department of a Berlin hospital.
Francoise believes she has found her kidnapped daughter Marie after seeing Nina, but neither Toni nor Pierre believe her. Nina isn’t sure what to think.
