While lamenting over her late dad and managing her numerous high school disappointments, Yi finds a newborn child sasquatch covering up on the top of her apartment complex. Maybe adorable than startling, the animal has gotten away from an examination research center. Yi and two young men, a neighbor, Jin, and his cousin, Peng, leave their anonymous city, setting out traveling across China to help their new companion, eponymously named Everest, get back securely home, to Mount Everest, and rejoin with his family. They are pursued by the uncommon creature gatherer, Burnish, and his zoologist, Dr. Zara, who is resolved to return Everest to bondage. Enter the street film, including a pursuit, occurring along the charming beautiful cross-country trip, recounting the sweet and charming anecdote about acknowledgment and holding, the worth of companionship, the significance of opportunity and power, and the strength of family.
