When Alexandra ‘Alex’ Barnes examines the instances of two wealthy men who have recently died and left their riches to their younger and younger wives, she assumes that the woman is the same. She suspects the woman of murdering millionaires without leaving a trace in order to obtain their money.Alex travels to find the mystery female inheritor Catharine Petersen, but she is unable to learn anything about her. Alex suspects Catharine has travelled to Hawai, so she takes a trip to follow her intuition. In the hotel, Alex meets and befriends Catharine, with whom he gets close. Alex has a crush on Catherine’s boyfriend Paul Nuytten (Sami Frey) when they first meet.
