The epic historical drama is based on William Shakespeare’s famous play by the same name. The movie is directed by Justin Kurzel and features Michael Fassbender, Marion Cotillard, Paddy Considine, Sean Harris, Jack Reynor, Elizabeth Debicki, and David Thewlis.
Macbeth an ambitious man carries the desire to become the king. In the desire and desperation to get the throne, he kills King Duncan and sits on the throne. Having snatched the throne through violent means doesn’t let Macbeth live in peace as he hallucinates and sees the spirits of King Duncan. The guilt of having killed the king for power kills him from inside and doesn’t let him exercise his powers.
