The Japanese anime film is directed by Mamoru Oshii. The movie is based on Masami Yuki’s manga by the same name. The movie features the voices of Toshio Furukawa, Miina Tominaga, Ryunosuke Ohbayashi, Yoshiko Sakakibara, Yo Inoue, Michichiro Ikemizu, Issei Futamata, Daisuke Gouri, Shigeru Chiba, and Osama Saka.
Tokyo is reconstructing itself, old suburbs are being demolished and new constructions will be started in Tokyo Bay. During this huge project, a computer virus corrupts the system of crime-fighting robots. It’s now the responsibility of two two police officers to rectify the problem before it damages the whole system.
