A fourth network struggles with ratings and moves its news department to the entertainment department. The news Anchor is fired as one of the ramifications of that change. With a beautifully daffy rant and rave session, he goes on the air, resulting in his demanding that people go to the windows and scream, “I’m as crazy as hell, and I won’t take it anymore.” As the urge to sell starts to overtake anyone who is touched by the network, his ravings make him an icon.
