Meanwhile, newlyweds Marshall and Lily purchase their first home together; and endlessly single Barney starts to have actual emotions for one woman. Meanwhile, in 2030, Ted’s future self (voiced by way of Bob Saget) starts to disclose tiny details about the titular mother. Memorable visitor stars from the season encompass Enrique Iglesias, Mandy Moore, and Britney Spears. The bored youngsters sit down on the couch and hear as dad regales them with memories of his pursuit of romance.
